It also performed well on vinyl flooring, and laminate floors. It did a good job of navigating furniture and objects, however it had issues with stairs where it could crash into bookcases.

Eufy RoboVac Hybrid X8

Some robot vacuum cleaners can be controlled via apps on smartphones, and others come with mopping technology to bathroom and kitchen flooring. They are a great option for busy families, and they are becoming more affordable. If you're looking for the most advanced technology in your robotic vacuum cleaner, then you'll have to shell out a bit more.
The Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid vacuum and mopping machine is a great choice for people who live in a multi-floored home. The vacuum's 0.6l bin can hold plenty of pet hair. Dual motors give impressive cleaning power. The dustbin can be removed and emptied without fuss, which is useful because you'll need to do it frequently.
It's also simple to set up, but I would recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid prior to running it for the very first time. Install the Eufy Home application and follow the instructions to connect it to your WiFi network. The app will then help you create a map of your house. It's also not as quiet as some other models we've tested and the whirring sound can be distracting.
Roborock V3S pro
This robot isn't as feature-rich as some of the more expensive models we tested however, it does have all the basics. It has a large enough dust bin to hold a lot of dirt before it's empty and its mop and vacuum system works great on both hard floors and low-pile carpets. It's also extremely quiet. We could watch TV while it cleaned without feeling like we were bombarded with the sound.
Our test participants were extremely pleased by how simple the machine was to operate and set up. They also loved the ability to clean all the mess from their flooring. It was successful in cleaning pet hair, messes and carpeting, but it was a bit more difficult at removing stubborn stains. The app was simple to use and intuitive. They could set up the vacuum to clean frequently to cut down on manual work. It doesn't have object avoidance or mapping technology, so it isn't able to be able to be directed to specific rooms or follow virtual borders (though magnetic boundaries can be used).
The V3S Pro is another model that is part of iRobot's affordable line. It has several impressive features for an affordable price. It topped all other robotic vacuums we tested when it comes to the ability to avoid obstacles and map them, and it's the perfect budget option for those looking for an intelligent self-emptying robot vacuum that is able to handle pet hair and messes on both hardwood floors and low-pile carpeting. It's also quiet and has a large dust bin that can hold a lot of dust before it needs to be emptied.
The V3S Pro did not make it into our top choice lists of trusted sources who test hands-on, but it received high marks from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. The V3S Pro was easy to use and set up, but the battery life was short.
