The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with future models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an improved filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price tag.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
